Gibbering (Bradbury 44): To prattle and chatter unintelligibly.
Centrifuge (Bradbury 45): an apparatus that rotates at high speed and by centrifugal force separates substances of different densities, as milk and cream.
Cacophony (Bradbury 45):a discordant and meaningless mixture of sounds
2 Literary Devices:
Simile: "It was like a faint drift of greenish luminescent smoke" (Bradbury 48).
Personification: "The parlor roared in the hot air" (Bradbury 50).
1 Summary Sentence: In this section we find out that Clarisse may be dead, and that Guy is beginning to feel bad aboyut his job, and may think it's time to take time away from it.
