- Even though Clarisse is dead Guy stills finds himself still thinking about her.
- Guy calls Faber to see if he will help him, but ended up disappointed when he was hung up upon.
- Guy is basically planning to foil the system, which he used to be apart of, by trying to duplicate the Bible that he got from the old woman.
- Faber basically says that the world is trying to hide itself from the truth of the world, and is trying to create a world in which life is easy.
- Faber seems to be very intellectual and smart, and may be the reason why their plan suceeds along with Guy's bravery.

- Did Guy actually think that professor Faber would actually help him, after what he did to him?
- In the book, is everyone exceptant that they basically can't live their own lives?
