  • Montag thinks that Mildred called in the alarm, when he sees her running from the house with a suitcase.
  • Montag knows that his plan will be foiled unless he does something, so he decides to burn Beatty to death.
  • Guy is a strong character by never giving up, and forcing himself to move on, even though it's almost impossible.
  • Clarisse is still on Guy's mind even though she is long gone.
  • Guy is going to become a fugitive of the United States.

  • Why is there random children driving?
  • What does Montag feel about basically becoming a fugitive of the United States?
  • Is there ever a time, Faber wants to get out of this situation, and just fend for himself?

1 Summary Sentence: In this section Montag has to make it away from the state/country when his house alaramed, and his house if put on fire. He goes to drarastic measures to get away freely.
